THE TREE’S PLACE
“Planted by the rivers of water”
There are a lot of truths that we can take out of this phrase.
We know that Jesus is the Water of Life. When we are planted by the rivers of water, we are able to get the nutrients and the things we need from the water, from Jesus.
Trees that have a good water source are healthy, strong and fruitful trees.
Christians that are planted by the water of Christ are healthy, strong and fruitful Christians.
At the same time, I believe there are Christians who choose to plant and place themselves away from the rivers of water.
There are Christians who have planted and placed themselves in a desert place, with little to no water, little to no nutrients and resulting in little to no fruit.
You get to choose where you are planted. You get to choose whether you want to be by the river or in the desert somewhere.
God doesn’t force you to be planted by the river, He lets you choose.
In our life, we may have periods where we are planted by the river and also periods where we are planted in the desert. It may not seem obvious at first but there are signs that will let you know where you are planted.
Plant yourself by the river of water, by Jesus Christ.
