I want to pick up where we left off yesterday. We talked about being in His presence, and when we are there is fulness of joy.
I thought about mentioning this yesterday, but I wanted to spend a little bit more time on it, I want to talk about the phrase “fulness of joy.”
It’s interesting that it’s “fulness of joy” and not just “joy.” The verse could read “…in thy presence is joy,” but instead it says “in thy presence is FULNESS of joy.”
Do you realize that the Lord will give you all the joy you need in life? You don’t have to go searching for more! You don’t have to look towards alcohol or drugs, you don’t have to look in hobbies or entertainment, all the joy you’ll ever need is in Christ!
In His presence, you don’t just find some joy or part of joy, you find fulness of joy. When you are in His presence, and full of joy from the Lord, you will see life very differently.
I believe the joy of the Lord will and can help you through the toughest trials of life. You may experience sadness and heartache but you’re able to endure because of the joy of the Lord.
Get in His presence.
Get fulness of joy.
