Love, Give, Live

I have read a lot of good Bible this week in my daily devotions. It never ceases to amaze me how God will give you exactly what you need when you read His Word purposefully.
One day I read in Romans 12 doing a little Bible study and the next day I read two almost identical verses in Proverbs 25. It’s almost like God is trying to get my attention!
Overall lesson l have learned this week is love without expectation, give without reciprocation and live without retaliation. Whether it’s a friend, family member, co-worker or even someone you can’t stand, our job as a Christian is to point everyone we can to Christ. You can’t point people to Christ when you live a life full of hate and selfishness and plotting against people because they have done you wrong.
No matter what you are going through, you have a job as a Christian and that is to be a witness for Christ.
