A simple thought on this Sunday…
Service always takes sacrifice.
Too be an effective servant of Christ, we have to sacrifice. We have to sacrifice what we want to do, where we want to go. We have to be willing to let God use by giving up our dreams and desires. This can even mean in our daily lives. We have to sacrifice ourselves every day to the service of God. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2
