“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
I know that this verse is talking about the gospel of Christ and telling people about Christ. The idea and message of this verse have encouraged me the last few days about what I am trying to accomplish with my blog. My goal with my blog is to inspire and encourage people. I want to be a blessing to someone even if it is through the written word of a blog.
Paul wasn’t ashamed to present and preach the Gospel. He wasn’t ashamed of the people he was sent to preach the Gospel to. Paul had the courage to stand up and preach the message of salvation loud and clear to all that would hear because he knew it was the power of God unto salvation.
When it comes to promoting my blog, I feel awkward and sometimes ashamed. I have asked myself this week, what am I ashamed of? My posts are meant to help others. I have the truth and I am sharing it. I have nothing to be ashamed of.
I should never be ashamed to preach the truth!
I should never be ashamed to promote the truth!
I should never be ashamed to publish the truth!
We live in a day and age where lies and trash are promoted and pushed by the wicked crowd. We are bombarded with wickedness on a daily basis! It is about time that we have more Christians stand up and proclaim the message loud and clear that Jesus is the only way to Heaven! That Jesus is the Healer and Helper for all problems! That Jesus is the answer!
Be a Christian who says, “I am not ashamed!”
