I saw a church sign today that said…
Do the math,
Count your blessings.
I thought about that quote a lot on my 40 minute drive home.
I do math a lot in my head. Usually with my finances or my time, I’m always thinking about how much I have or don’t have.
How much money do we have for bills? How much time do we have before the next event?
Do the math.
Count your blessings.
Can you really count all the blessings of the Lord in your life?
Can you really put monetary value on what the Lord has given you?
The answer is no, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try.
Just start being grateful for what the Lord has given you. Look around you and thank God for where He has placed you, the things He has given you. If we truly believe that everything belongs to God, then we would truly appreciate every single thing in our life.
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” Psalms 103:2
Don’t forget about the benefits, the blessings, the Lord has given you.
Do the math.
Count your blessings.
