Chapter 25: A Vessel for the Finer
“Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.” Proverbs 25:4
Dross is impurities found on a molten metal like silver.
Dross is removed when the metal is put into the furnace and heated.
In the Christian life, we are like silver. God wants to make us better and sometimes He has to put us through a furnace to do that. If you let God do His thing in your life, you will come out better than before you went in.
A lot of times, God puts us in the furnace and then we blame Him for the trial we are in. Just trust God that He know what He is doing, He wants to make you a vessel for the finer.
If you want to be a vessel for the finer, you will have to get rid of the dross. Let God put you through the furnace, all Him to make you better.
