Chapter 29: No Vision
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18
This is probably the most famous verse in this chapter. I have heard many soul winning messages on this verse. If you don’t have a vision for the lost, you won’t go out and witness for the lost and they will perish.
At our church this year our theme has been on witnessing. We have been pushing and stressing the importance of telling those around us how they can know for sure they are going to Heaven.
Being a soul winner is our number one job. Like any job, it does take work. If you aren’t prepared and ready to witness, you won’t. You have to put in effort to tell people about Christ.
Having a vision for the lost is up to each individual. If we don’t have a vision than those around us will perish.
Get a vision! Keep a vision! Tell others about Christ!
