The Bible tells us that we should attend church. Church is the assembling of believers together. I could get all into the doctrine and theology of the church but that’s for a different day.
Today, I just want to give 4 tips on making it to church EVERY Sunday!
- Plan on attending church! Make it part of your regular schedule. Many times people have good intentions to make it to church but since it is not part of their regular schedule, anything that comes up will deter them from church!
- Prepare the night before! Lay out your Sunday best, get the kids bathed, go to bed at a decent time! When you prepare everything the night before, it cuts back on the stress of rushing and getting a family ready on Sunday morning!
- Pray for a blessing from God. Pray the whole week that God will give you something from the sermon on Sunday. If you have been praying the whole week for church, it will be hard to miss it and miss the blessing that God has for you!
- Participate in the ministries! If you have a job or a ministry to be a part of on Sunday, it will be hard to miss the services. Too many people attend church just to see what they can get out of it, not what they can put into it. Find a ministry and serve and be faithful to it.
There is never excuse good enough to miss church. We should all do our best to be in church every time the doors are open!
