Never Forget

I will never forget this day, seventeen years ago. 9/11 became more than just a date in time, it became an event in history. America was attacked by terrorists and many innocent lives were lost. One of the greatest tragedies ever to happen on American soil!

I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news of the planes being hijacked and crashing into the towers, the Pentagon, and the Pennsylvanian field. I remember opening assembly at school where we took extra time to pray for our country, our President, and those involved in these attacks.

As we remember these events from this day, let us take a moment today to reflect on that day and the lives that were lost. Let us take a moment and pray and thank God that we have the opportunity to live in America, and let’s pray for revival in our country once again.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14
