Who Is Using You?

This saying goes farther than just God and Satan looking for someone to do their work. It is in all aspects of life. At a job, a boss isn’t going to look for the laziest person to do the extra work. They are looking for the people who are working hard and doing what they are supposed to do.

If we aren’t busy doing the Lord’s work and serving Him, then by default we are prime targets for Satan.

God is looking to use those that are already serving Him. If you want to be used of God or used more by Him, start serving, start working, start doing everything you can for Him and you will see opportunities arise that you may have never even dreamed of!

Satan, on the other hand, is looking for those Christians who are doing nothing. He is looking for the Christians who find any excuse to skip church, to not go soul winning, to serve in any ministry. It is with these Christians that he can plant the seed of apathy and the seed of criticism. He will use these idle Christians to hinder and distract the Christians who are working.

You are being used by someone. Is that someone God? Or, is that someone Satan? It is your choice when it comes to who uses you.

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
