Chapter 23: Remove Not
Just a quick thought tonight from this chapter. In verse ten it says, “Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:” I see in this verse that we are to keep the landmarks that those who have gone before have set. We shouldn’t let our standards and convictions down to appease the crowds. We have gone soft in true Christianity. Yes I believe we should enjoy serving the Lord and living righteously but this isn’t a party we are in. We are in a battle of good and evil of right and wrong. When we remove those landmarks or even start to push them away from God and closer to the world, we are letting Satan win the battle. Stand strong! Don’t give in! Remove not the old landmarks!
