I saw a statement on a friend’s social media post last night saying how he would give anything to not have any back pain. I commented and told him that I was in the same boat. I would love to have one day where my back wouldn’t hurt, throb or ache. Yes, some days are better than others but still no pain would be nice.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelations 21:4
I am looking forward to Heaven. I am looking forward to meeting my Saviour face to face. I am looking forward to being in the presence of God.
I am looking forward to that day where I have no pain in my back. I am looking forward to that day where I have perfect eyesight. I am looking forward to that day when I have no more teeth problems.
I have a super high pain tolerance, it takes a lot to put me down. I just have something inside of me that pushes me to keep on going. But more than dealing with my own pain, I hate to see the ones that I love in pain. their pain hurts me more than anything else. I am one who would rather deal with pain than my wife or kids. I hate to see my parents go through pain and health issues. I wish I could handle all their pain for them.
Whether it is a health issue, physical pain, death, tears…one day they will all be gone. No more going to the doctor, having to take medicine, or even just dealing with it…it will all be gone.
The best thing about Heaven, about being in a pain-free place is you don’t have to have a special insurance plan, or even have to have a lot of money. All you need to make it into Heaven is Jesus Christ as Saviour.
If you feel great today, take the Gospel to those that are hurting and hopeless. Share the good news of Jesus Christ today.
