Through the Fire

“Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.” Isaiah 24:15

Yesterday we celebrated our 56th Homecoming Anniversary at Bethel Baptist Church. We had a great day and saw God bless in an amazing way with 54 salvations and 6 baptisms. It is a blessing to be a part of a church that is growing and serving God!

We had Evangelist Craig Bryan as our guest preacher yesterday and he brought 2 amazing messages yesterday and he was used greatly by the Lord. Bro. Bryan has been through a lot in his life and it is truly amazing to see someone still being faithful to serving the Lord.

Last night at church Bro. Bryan brought a great message and I just want to share the outline and some of the thoughts that were given.

You can be in the center of God’s will and still go through the fire.

  1. Fire brings purification
  2. Fire brings prayer
  3. Fire brings preparation
  4. Fire brings persistence
  5. Fire brings power
  6. Fire brings proof
  7. Fire brings protection
  8. Fire brings progress
  9. Fire brings passion
  10. Fire brings praise

You are safer in the fire in the middle of the will of God than in the coolness of this world.

He mentioned how Job was in the center of God’s will and doing everything he was supposed to be doing and there came a fire in his life where he had to decide to either keep going or give up.

So no matter what you are going through, remember to give God the praise because He is trying to make you stronger and a better servant for Him.
