Man, it’s hot! I feel like the heat index for the last month has been over 100 degrees here in the south. I hate the heat! I feel that this year, here in Mississippi, we skipped spring. The weather went from really cold to really hot, really fast!
I was thinking the other day about why I should be enjoying this heat instead of complaining about it. My first thought was, no matter how hot it gets here on earth, I never have to experience the heat of Hell. Yes, I believe in Hell. Yes, I believe it is a real place. Yes, I believe that without Christ as your Saviour you will spend eternity in Hell.
I am thankful that I never have to experience that everlasting heat wave that is called Hell. I never have to wonder what it is like to be so hot without the option to cool down or drink some refreshing water. I never have to experience the lake of fire! I will go ahead and enjoy this heat of summer because it is nothing like Hell!
If you are lost without Christ, now is the time of salvation. You can accept Christ today as your Saviour. Just realize you are a sinner, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23. Realize the punishment for your sins is death in Hell and realize that Christ died and rose again to pay for your sins, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 Once you realize you are a sinner and that you need a Saviour, call on the Lord and ask Him to save you, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosover shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9,13 Salvation is a personal choice, it is between you and the Lord. I can’t make it for you, neither can anyone else. Accept Christ today to miss out on the heat wave of Hell!!
