You Will Be Tempted!

“Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I Corinthians 10:12-13

Temptation comes to every man and woman. It comes to us in different forms at different times. Temptation is Satan trying to get you to ruin your character and testimony before the Lord and others. Being tempted is not a sin, acting upon the temptation is.

We live in a wicked world and we will not be able to avoid all the different temptations that Satan has for us. But we can live our life in such a way that will minimize the temptations. Build walls around your life, establish Biblical principles, make good decisions that will lead you in the right path. All Satan needs is one slip, one crack and he can get us to act on that temptation that he puts before us.

God doesn’t allow Satan to attack you with more than you can handle, we see that in Job. God also gives us His Word, the King James Bible, that gives us the solutions to any temptation the devil brings.

Yes, you will be tempted.

Yes, you do have a choice to act on that temptation or not.

Yes, you can make the right choice in the those times of temptation.
