Each person has to come to a point in their life where they say, “Enough is enough.” They have to realize that to change their life, they have to stop what they are doing and start something new. The crazy thing it can work both ways, you can stop something bad and start something good or you can stop something good and start something bad.
Hopefully, we all want to stop the bad habits we have and replace them with good. I have found that bad habits are easy to build because they are the easiest to create, they have the path of least resistance. Bad habits are built on laziness and lack of care.
Too be honest, I have built some bad habits the last few weeks. I have developed the habit of excuses of why I can’t blog, can’t podcast, can’t be active on my site and social media and know it has grown into a little monster of laziness.
But I tell myself that I am busy! I work two jobs, go to church, stay involved in ministries, spend time with the family! Yes, I am busy but I have grown lazy in the thing I love to do and that is put out content on my site. I have grown lazy in being an encouragement. I have grown lazy in motivating and inspiring people to be faithful in every area of their life.
Well, now is when I say “Enough is enough!” It is time that I start writing and recording and desiring to be a blessing. It is time I build up the good habit of hard work in everything I do, not just the areas where I see immediate profit from.
I have actually gone back and forth in my head about whether to post this, but I have too. I have to get back on track.
My dream in life is not to be stuck in a warehouse working an 8-5 job everyday. My dream in life is not to be living paycheck to paycheck. My dream is to enjoy time with my family, to be able to serve God wherever I am, and to be an uncompromising, encouraging influence on the web and social media.
So needless to say, I am excited to get back on this journey again and hopefully I can be a blessing.
