Over the last few weeks, I have been seeing an increasing amount of people posting things about Facebook and that it listens to their conversations. Facebook will show you ads of products that you haven’t googled or looked up on your phone, the only way it knows is because it listens supposedly. Now, I believe that Facebook does generate ads based on what you search, it also generates ads based on your gender and age.

I am not a paranoid conspiracy theorist, nor do I really care…which may not be the best attitude towards this situation. But if you think about, we put smartphones, smart tvs, smart home devices, iPads, tablets, and other devices that are connected to the internet…of course someone is watching and listening to every move and everything we say. So Facebook is probably listening to some extent…
But why are we more concerned if whether Facebook is listening or not, when God is always listening? God hears everything we say and sees everything we do and knows everything we think, yet we are more concerned about what Facebook hears us say.
“For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.”
Jeremiah 16:17
The Lord sees, hears and knows everything we do. You can’t hide from God, you can’t hide your wickedness from God! I don’t know if Facebook is listening, but I am 100% positive that God is listening and God is watching and God knows everything that you do! Live a life that is pleasing to God whether it is in private or in public!
